Well we had rather a wonderful time at Haworth 1940s weekend. Lots of lovely people joined in all the dancing, plenty of people dressed up in 1940 uniforms and outfits looking splendid. Tea dances, big bands, small bands, piped bands, dancing in the park, fly past by a Dakota plane, steam trains vintage cars and buses. Gosh I'm exhausted all over again. Oh and Haworth looked fabulous as always.
Well, It's been a jolly busy day at Emma's! Lots of our lovely aprons are under-way and are almost complete. Each one is handmade at our Skipton shop and no two are ever the same!
If someone is sewing away in the shop say hello and have a look at whats being made. Emma's has been busy this weekend! Not only is the Water Ways Festiva; still going on down at the canal basin, the Tour de Yorkshire is passing by today after all the excitement of the Tour de France last year. The weather isn't as nice as last year but everyone watching and taking part will enjoy it. On top of that Bank Holiday Monday, yeaaaaa.
Emma's will be open here in Skipton but Halifax will be closed, sorry. |
